1. Applications of FM 1612 Online Hydrostatic tester
PVC Pipe Online Hydro static proof tester for FM 1612 AWWA C900 are designed to safely test PVC water main pipe lengths in accordance with the requirements of the American Water Works Association FM 1612, Specification C-900. PVC PVC-UH Pipe hydrostatic proof tester, Quick Burst Tester, ANSI/AWWA C900 PVC PVC-UH Pipe, FM 1612.
AWWA C900 Online Hydrostatic tester
AWWA C900 water pipe, produced in blue or white, conforms to the AWWA C900 specification, with gaskets meeting ASTM F477 and joints in compliance with ASTM D3139. This pipe conforms to AWWA C900-07 and FM 1612; Pressure Class 165 psi (DR 25), 235 psi (DR 18)*; 305 psi (DR 14)*; for sizes 4″ – 48″ in diameter.
Online water pressure testing machine
This hydro tester is suitable for online water pressure testing of PVC-UH pipes. The PVC-UH pipe sizes is including 4 inch(Φ101.6mm), 6 inch(Φ152.4mm), 8 inch(Φ203.2mm), 12 inch (Φ304.8mm), 16 inch(Φ406.4mm). And the PVC-UH pipe length is 6000mm-6400mm. The maximum test pressure is 8MPa.
Each pipe has one end with bell (Rieber type locked in gasket) end and the other side has spigot end. The pressure test process has three working modes: manual, automatic and maintenance.
2. Testing Types
Hydrostatic proof testing
Only one time testing each pipe for a minimum of 5 seconds for a hydrostatic proof test at 3.2 times the pressure class.
Quick Burst Test of FM 1612 Online Hydrostatic tester
One time testing every 24 hr during a test time of 60 to 70 seconds.
The equipment is installed in the end of the line catch every pipe and seal the pipe and do a test for seconds at the 2 times or 3.2 times work pressure of the pipe.
They can be customized to meet your required specifications.

Applicable pipe diameter: Φ100~305mm

Production capacity: less than 10 minutes/pc
